Take Your Fun-Fun!

Latest news for the past couple weeks have been the sicknesses I have battled in this country. I think it is a mixture of the dust in my apartment + not enough vegetables + somewhat erratic sleeping schedule + World Cup-induced excess + getting used to food that have worked together to give me a repeating hard core cold. I think the real issue was not actually that the cold kept re-occurring, but that it actually never left in the first place. oops.

Oh well. I went to the Korean doctor just to be sure that it wasn't an infection, since I was coughing up a lot of green stuff (lovely, I know) and my ears were so full I kept getting vertigo in class haha. Luckily, just a simple cold, for which there is the remedy of approximately 23948 pills a day and this strange powder that has a frog on it for sore throats.

I was told to take that roll of pills each day for about 4 days. Each of those pockets were labeled either B, L, or D - Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner! Yum! I think I took about one pill total out of them. Haha. However, I am a big fan of 비타 500 (Vita 500, except they don't say "V's" here, so BEETA). High in Vitamin C and it did help me feel better. That + multivitamins. I have to start eating more vegetables!!!!

OH. So, before I went to the doctor I went to the pharmacy to get some nasal decongestants. This was where the whole fun-fun thing started. Luckily, I read the label and watched a lot of Arrested Development to recognize that the pills they gave me were primarily phen-phen. You know, that diet drug banned by the FDA? I think the lady misunderstood somehow and thought maybe I wanted to lose a few pounds. Actually, I think the main point of confusion was because I said I didn't want to be sleepy. haha. Oh well. Needless to say, I didn't take those.

Oh, so it's the end of the road for the Korea and World Cup. Sad. :[ I will leave on this note. Still no camera, so this picture is Gina's.

Today, I have a half day so I'm looking forward to peacefully enjoying my favorite part of the day= SUNSET. I really miss this time of day, especially during the summer time, since I'm normally in class. Last time, I had a half day I just sat on these steps and watched the sun go down and drew for three hours. It was incredibly relaxing, so I think I may do that again.

I'm sitting in a chair and Namsan is running around in circles between my legs. It's pretty cute.
